An enduring Houston icon, drive-thru margarita bars are a Space City tradition. Sometimes, a margarita is immediately required, and these cheap, sugary slushies make it happen in the easiest way possible.
The legality of driving with booze in the car is a tight line to walk, and these Houston-area drive-thru daiquiris each tackle the issue in different ways. Most of the time,a piece of Scotch tape stuck over the top of the straw hole of the cup is used to "seal" the container, and other times, you'll pour the booze yourself (via tiny bottles) into a giant cup of slush for the perfect mix.
Use this map as a guide to the city's booziest drive-thru gems, serving up gallon-sized frozen drinks, margs garnished with sour gummies, and so much more. Drinking and driving is definitely still illegal, so wait until you're parked to enjoy these boozy slushy delights.

Unlike some of the other spots on this list, Chacho’s has an actual Mexican restaurant inside that some consider to be a Houston staple. The pina coladas here are perfectly strong, and Chacho’s is open 24 hours, which makes it a super popular spot for late night drunchies.
