Adam Levine embraced his reputation as a “promiscuous” playboy before finally settling down with Behati Prinsloo in 2014 — long before this week, when model Sumner Stroh claimed they engaged in an alleged “affair.”
The Maroon 5 frontman was linked to a string of stunning women over the years, including Cameron Diaz, Maria Sharapova, Nina Agdal and Victoria’s Secret stunner Anne Vyalitsyna.
During his days as a bachelor, the “Moves Like Jagger” crooner often spoke candidly about his very active sex life — even admitting to cheating on an unnamed ex. He has since denied allegations made by Stroh, 23.
The Post has reached out to reps for Levine.
“Instinctively, monogamy is not in our genetic makeup,” he told Cosmopolitan in 2009. “People cheat. I have cheated. And you know what? There is nothing worse than the feeling of doing it.”
In 2012, the three-time Grammy winner admitted to being “promiscuous,” telling Details magazine: “There’s two kinds of men: There are men who are f–king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they’re the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me.”

He further declared: “Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.”
On Monday, Levine was thrust into the headlines when Stroh, an Instagram model, took to TikTok claiming to have had an “affair” with the married singer. The crooner — who has been wed to Prinsloo for eight years, and with whom he shares two young children — vehemently denied Stroh’s bombshell allegation in a statement on Tuesday.
Levine first met and fell in love with Prinsloo back in 2012 — after they initially connected online.
“We kind of started talking over email, back and forth for months,” Prinsloo, now 34, toldAccess Hollywood Livein 2014.“I was kind of making fun of him. We talked over email for such a long time and then went to LA and we met for the first time. When we met finally, face to face… I walked through the door and was like, ‘What am I doing here?’ And he… was like, ‘This is awkward, hi!'”
The pair promptly hit it off and dated for several months before briefly breaking up.
Levine — who was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2013 — reportedlyhad a fling with Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal, and a source claimed that the relationship was “very casual.”
However, Levine soon reconciled with Prinsloo before quickly proposing in July 2013.
Sources told Page Six that Agdal found out about Levine’s engagementvia text and claimed that the model was “heartbroken” over it.
Meanwhile, the surprise proposal also came just months after Levine expressed doubts about the concept of marriage.

“If you don’t get married, you can’t get divorced,” the singing sensation told Nylon Guys in 2013.
But after their lavish wedding in July 2014, Levine and Prinsloo appeared the picture of domestic bliss.
A month after his wedding, the seemingly reformed Lothario Levine told Ryan Seacrest of marriage: “You feel like a man or something, it’s weird. The relationship doesn’t change, but you feel slightly more masculine. I feel like from a man’s perspective… at the end of the day, if you’re with the right person, the guy is supposed to feel like, I think, a little bit more of a man.”

The couple welcomed two daughters in quick succession: Dusty Rose, in 2016, and Gio Grace, less than two years later.
Levine and Prinsloo frequently shared photos on social media of their happy family life and even showed Architectural Digest around their sprawling California home in a video interview last year.
Earlier this month, the couple confirmed they were expecting their third child, with Prinsloo taking to Instagram with a selfie of her burgeoning baby bump.
But the pair’s blissful marriage was called into question on Monday when Instagram model Stroh took to TikTok claiming to have had an affair with Levine.
Stroh shared a video — which has been viewed more than 15 million times — in which she alleged that she and Levine saw each other “for about a year.”
“At the time, you know, I was young, I was naive. I mean quite frankly, I feel exploited,” she stated. “I wasn’t in the scene like I am now, so I was definitely very easily manipulated.”
The brunette also shared screenshots of private messages Levine allegedly sent to her.
“It is truly unreal how f–king hot you are. Like, it blows my mind,” the “Animals” singer purportedly wrote to Stroh. “You are 50 times hotter in person. And so am I hahahah.”
Stroh claims she stopped talking to Levine before he resurfaced in June, allegedly sending her an Instagram message saying he wanted to name his third child after her, much to her shock.
“Ok serious question,” Levine allegedly wrote in a message on June 1. “I’m having another baby and if it’s w [sic] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious.”
On Tuesday, Levine responded, denying allegations of an affair but admitting he “crossed the line” by sending “flirtatious” messages.
“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” Levinewrote in a statementon Instagram on Tuesday. “I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world,” he continued. “To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”
Prinsloo has not publicly spoken since the scandal broke.

Meanwhile, Stroh has been widely criticized on TikTok, with many claiming she was a grown woman who seemingly expressed no remorse over allegedly sleeping with a married man.
She later took to Instagram Stories to discuss the blowback she received on her claims.
“Aware people are going to try to fill in the gaps with many false assumptions. I don’t feel like I’m doing any favors considering the manner this had to go about,” Stroh stated. “It’s a lot to digest but hopefully, at the very least, the truth being out can do some good.”
The brunette alsoposted a “part 2” videolate Monday night, which she deemed “necessary” since she feels “disgusted” with herself.
“I’m disgusted and so ashamed of the pain and hurt I’ve caused,” she declared. “I didn’t want to sound whiney so that wasn’t said in this video.”
