Reflecting on his career, Keary said, "If you told me when I was knocking around in Burleigh with no contract that I'd achieve all this, I'd have thought you were silly." He added, "Leaving the Roosters last year was sad, but looking back, I'm grateful for every moment and every person who played a role in my journey."
