Noir Vesper Ch. HOLOSTARS-EN (2024)

Vesper Noir (born: February 13, 1994 [age 30]) is an American former VTuber affiliated with hololive's first wave of male English-speaking VTubers, HoloTempus.^[1] He debuted with Axel Syrios, Regis Altare and Magni Dezmond.

Vesper's first video was uploaded on July 17, 2022. He debuted the week after on July 24, and held a chatting stream afterwards. The first game he played on stream was West of Loathing, and he has also played Project: Zomboid. He hosts chatting streams about specific subjects at times such as tech, funny tweets and ancient memes and also reviews limited edition food. As he is skilled in PC building, he hosts many streams dedicated to reviewing builds and discussing them.

Vesper's first collaboration was playing Hunt: Showdown with Altare.

He has held a chatting stream with Axel.

Vesper was illustrated by 小宮 and rigged by FELUCCA.^[2]

Adventurer’s Guild TEMPUS’s academic advisor. He also holds the posts of custodian and arch-scholar at the Grand Library. Logical and rational at all times, he doesn’t lift a finger unless completely convinced by something. He has an aversion to sunlight due to spending too long cooped up, absorbed in his research. “It’s his childish nature that allows him to speak so freely about his dreams. He might even actually let everyone around him dream.”^[4]

Suspension[]

In December 2022, he got suspended due to losing his temper and was suspended for two weeks. When he returned, he explaioned that he struggled with anger issues ever since he was young and even went to therapy for it.^[5]

Suspension and Graduation[]

On 10 July, hololive English's Twitter account announced that the streaming activities of Noir Vesper and Magni Dezmond would be stopped for a time.

On 24 August, hololive English's Twitter account announced that Noir Vesper and Magni Dezmond would graduate on 31 August, with no further activities performed such as a graduation stream. According to the statement this is in accordance to their wishes.

• Some say Vesper is actually Florida Man due to him mentioning shocking events in his past as if they were mundane. For example, going out for a drink to a bar being trapped in there for 30 hours due to a hurricane, his brother almost dying and waking up in a bed full of blood, only to find out he had been stabbed (and it being the second time he was stabbed).^[10][11][12]
• Vesper being Vlad The Impaler because while he was suspended, after visiting his family for Thanksgiving he bought a boar hunting spear.^[13]
  • After the HoloTempus Left 4 Dead 2 collab, and after Vesper revealed he had a sword collection, Vespies began joking "While you were having premarital sex, Vesper was studying the blade"^[14]

Personal life[]

He has a brother. He mentions that as children, the two would frequently misbehave, and once accidentally started an indoor fire.^[16][17]

Many Vespies managed to figure out Vesper resides in Florida due to his anecdotes about hurricanes.^[18]

• He likes peeling the plastic film off of new electronic equipments, but dislikes starting a campfire with damp wood.^[19]
• His favourite anime are Yuyu Hakusho, Akagi, Kaiji, Trigun, Hajime no Ippo, Yowamushi Pedal, Yama no Sasume, Wakazaoke, Kingdom and Love Live!.^[20]
