On Publix.com:

  1. Log in to your Club Publix account.
  2. Select your profile icon in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Select “Payment Methods,” then select “Add a Gift Card.”
  4. Enter all 19 digits of your gift card number and the PIN.

In the Publix app:

  1. Open the Publix appand log in to your Club Publix account.
  2. Tap the menu in the upper left of the screen.
  3. Tap “Payment Methods”, then tap “Add Card” in the Gift Cards section.
  4. Enter all 19 digits of your gift card number and the PIN.

That’s it! Your Publix gift card is ready to use when you pay with the Publix app in store.

Keep the physical gift card. Once you add a Publix gift card to your Club Publix account, the balance remains available on both the card and in the account. You can add funds to your physical gift card when you’re ready.

There are several easy ways to check your physical or eGift card balance.

On Publix.com:

  • Select “Gift Cards” in the menu at the top of the screen, then select “Check Balance.”
  • If your gift card has been added to your Club Publix account, select your profile icon in the upper right of the screen and select “Payment Methods.”

In the Publix app:

  • Tap the menu in the upper left of the screen, then select “Check Gift Card Balance.”
  • If your gift card has been added to your Club Publix account, tap the menu at the upper left of the screen, then tap “Payment Methods.”

You can also check your store receipt or ask a customer service associate at your nearby Publix location to check your balance.

The update to your balance should happen quickly after each transaction. Your Club Publix account should display your most recent update.

Yes. You may order eGift cards through www.publix.com/gift.

Gift cards with no available balance are hidden when selecting a payment option. To see the card, access your Club Publix account.

You can store up to 8 payment methods (including gift cards).

Gift cards with no funds are automatically hidden while selecting a payment option. To view hidden cards, access your Club Publix account. You will be able to remove used-up cards and make room for additional ones.

Gift cards have a maximum value of $500 per card. You can store up to 8 cards, which includes any gift cards, debit cards, and credit cards.

Yes. Gift cards with a zero balance can be removed from your Club Publix account.

On Publix.com:

  1. Log in to your Club Publix account.
  2. Click your profile icon in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Select “Payment Methods.”
  4. Selectthe card you wish to remove.
  5. Select “Remove.”.

In the Publix app:

  1. Navigate to your Club Publix account.
  2. Select the card you wish to remove in your Payment Methods.
  3. Tap “Remove Card.”

For your convenience, gift cards stored in your Club Publix account are preselected for payment. You can change which gift cards are used at the time of payment.

Selected gift cards will be processed from lowest to highest value in your Club Publix account. Your preferred debit or credit card will be charged for any purchases not covered by gift cards.

Physical gift cards: Yes. To add funds to your gift card, bring the physical card to any register at your nearby Publix store. The balance of the corresponding card in your Club Publix account will automatically update.

eGift cards: No. You cannot reload an eGift card.

No. Only Publix gift cards with available funds can be added to your Club Publix account.

Yes. You can share the gift card information with a family member to load to their own Club Publix account.

We also offer parent/student gift cards that come in pairs. Each physical Publix gift card shares the same number, so each person can keep one. Parent/student gift cards may be purchased in stores and online.

Yes.Log in to your Club Publix account and select “Purchases.” You will be able to see your receipts online when you pay with the Publix app.

Gift cards stored in your Club Publix account can be used for in-store purchases when you pay with the Publix app at Publix Super Markets, Publix Liquors, or Publix Pharmacies. They can also be used for in-store pickup orders placed online.

Your Club Publix account cannot be used for purchases at Publix GreenWise Market locations.

No. Publix gift cards cannot be used to pay for delivery or curbside orders at this time.

No. Publix gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. If you wish to purchase a gift card by paying with the Publix app, make sure you have a debit or credit card stored in your Club Publix account. While your gift cards can be used for other items in your order, a debit/credit card will be needed to purchase other gift cards.

No. Gift cards can only be used to purchase merchandise.

Publix gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.

Publix gift cards do not expire or decrease in value over time.

No. Your Club Publix account can consist of only Publix gift cards if you prefer. If you do not have another form of payment stored in your Club Publix account, you can use a payment type outside of the account (another debit/credit card, cash, check).

If you store a debit/credit card in your Club Publix account and make a purchase that is not covered by the available gift card balance, any remaining balance will be charged to the debit or credit card unless you request to use a different form of payment.

At the register, if the total order price is higher than the balance on your gift cards, other cards (debit/credit) in your Club Publix account will be used to cover the remaining balance.

For prepaid online in-store pickup orders, a debit/credit card or Apple Pay (in the Publix app, for select items) can be used to cover the remaining balance.

Yes. You can access your gift cards on any device that is logged in to your Club Publix account.

If you lose your phone, be sure to change your Club Publix password.

Yes. At the register, tell the cashier how you would like to pay.

For pre-paid online in-store pickup orders, you may pay with gift cards and a debit/credit card or Apple Pay (in the Publix app, for select items).

Physical gift cards: The required PIN is located to the right of the gift card number. If your gift card doesn’t have a PIN, you will not be able to upload it into the Club Publix account.

eGift cards: The required PIN is located below the gift card number.

Publix gift cards can be used to purchase products at a Publix Super Markets store.

Publix gift cards cannot be used to purchase prepaid, specialty, or Publix gift cards. See Payment Termsfor more information.
