Ticket registration is now available for the 2024 NFL draft, hosted in downtown Detroit.
The three-day event, April 25-27, is free to attend. To register, fans must sign up using the NFL OnePass app or online through the website. Adults 18 and older are required to register for the event, and can register up to five minors to bring to the draft experience.
Once someone registers for the event, they will be free to attend all of the NFL draft experiences that will be hosted in downtown Detroit outside of the seated section actual draft theater, where the player selection will take place. Fans must purchase tickets to be inside the draft theater during the event, but fans who register for the draft experience will be able to see the stage on screens around the area or the stage that will be adjacent to it. Fans who register for the draft experience can go to the draft theater, but only to the standing-room-only section as the seated area requires purchased tickets.
According to the website for ticket purchases, theater tickets for all three days are sold out, while tickets for Day 3 of the draft, for Rounds 4-7, are available at $550 per person.
Gates will open at noon on April 25-26 and at 9 a.m. on April 27. The draft theater will host visitors from 8-11 p.m. on April 25, 7-11 p.m. the following day, and noon-7 p.m. on April 27.
The free tickets guarantee you will be inside the NFL draft footprint in downtown Detroit during the event. The draft footprint stretches through Campus Martius Park and Cadillac Square, and runs south down Woodward through Hart Plaza. The draft theater will be located at Randolph and Monroe Streets, across from the Greektown parking garage.
Did someone say free?
The free tickets will get you access to be inside the draft area and participate in the NFL draft experiences, which includes football-inspired challenges like a 40-yard dash or attempting to throw a Hail Mary, an autograph station where current and former NFL players to be announced will interact with fans, a Bud Light-sponsored bar area, replica draft stage, photo opportunities in NFL uniforms, the Lombardi Trophy, Super Bowl rings and a replica NFL locker room, and an authentic NFL shop. There is also going to be a "taste of Detroit" tailgate featuring dozens of local Detroit restaurants as well as five food trucks that will be operating throughout the event.
The NFL will host youth activities at Corner Ballpark, the site of Tiger Stadium in Corktown. The youth events include a field goal challenge, dressing up in full uniform to mimic pro players and daily clinics, open to kids 6-14, to learn the rules of football and flag football through a series of "clinics, competitions and demonstrations" that will occur daily.
The free experiences do not guarantee a spot in the NFL draft theater where the actual picks will be announced. Tickets for the draft theater must be purchased online. The NFL will have televisions in place in other areas of the draft experience for people to be able to watch the picks live.
