Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro are now part of the One UI 8 beta program, bringing the latest software update to these 2022 smartwatches. This expansion was first spotted by SamMobile on Samsung's Community Forum, with a Korean screenshot confirming the beta has started for the Watch 5 and is ongoing for the Watch 6. The sign-up and cancellation process has been simplified through the Samsung Members app, and the beta is currently open in South Korea, with a US rollout expected soon. While the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra have received the stable One UI 8 Watch update, the Watch 6 line remains in testing after five beta builds. This incremental step doesn't necessarily indicate an imminent global stable release. Users can now try out improved hand gestures, the option to pair two tiles into one, and the new Now Bar for live updates on their watch faces. The Galaxy Watch 4's beta status is still unknown, but Watch 5 owners in Korea can sign up through Samsung Members, while US users should soon see the update available. Stay tuned for more updates as Samsung continues to roll out One UI 8 Watch.
