guys what do we think abt the new lsat writing? if you've already taken the old writing is it worth redoing?

like maybe they'll pay more attention now and it could be a strength of ur application

never once have I heard someone in admissions mention even looking at the LSAT writing, i can't imagine it'd help much unless you really messed up and wrote 2 sentences total and they were both about pancakes or something stupid

but i barely got in anywhere so maybe i'm completely wrong ab what they're looking at lol

There’s one exception, though. If you’re retaking the test in August 2024 or later and you’ve already completed the writing section under the old format during a previous test, you don’t need to take the new writing section.

It makes a lot of sense, reading, taking a side, and arguing it is arguably much more important to lawyering than little puzzle games
