Watching the Rams and Bengals play Super Bowl 2022 at SoFi Stadium is no cheap venture.
If you’re there and planning to eat or drink while doing it . . . things just got more expensive.
For starters, if fans wanting to have a cold beer with their football — a classic pairing — be prepared to shell out $17 for a Michelob Ultra while a craft variety like Kona will set you back $19. For those looking to save a little money for food (you’re gonna need it), a Bud Light is $13.
If beer isn’t your thing, single servings of booze start at $14 for “premium selections” — DeLeón Tequila, Smirnoff Vodka, Captain Morgan rum, Crown Royal, Jose Cuervo and the like — while “super selections” like Don Julio Blanco, Ketel One, Casamigos, Bulleit Bourbon and Johnny Walker Black start at $17. Feeling like a big spender? The “ultra selections” start at $19. That price point will get you Don Julio Anejo, Ciroc, Ron Zacapa XO or similar.

You can get really into the Super Bowl spirit with a $16 Monday Morning Quarterback — the signature co*cktail of the game — a mix of Crown Royal, lemon juice, simple syrup and iced tea.
Super Bowl concession prices. $17 for a michelob ultra seems like a lot but it is very warm in SoFi. 🤷🏻♂️ pic.twitter.com/u8kFV3LByI

A hard seltzer or a canned wine is going for $17 inside the confines of SoFi Stadium.
Not a drinker? You’re not exactly off the hook, though you can save some coin with a $7 aluminum Pepsi fountain soda or $6 Lifewater premium bottled water. If you’re skimping, an aluminum bottle of Aquafina goes for $5.

If you’ve still got moolah left over for munchies, a Frito-Lay bagged snack can be yours for $5. Throw in a hot dog ($5) or a soft pretzel ($4), and you might just have yourself a meal. Tostitos chips with queso are an $8 venture.
A cheese pizza costs $15 — an upgrade to pepperoni is another $2. For the foodie at the stadium, house blend meatballs go for $20, while those aiming for a more healthy approach can check out the $12 kale & gem lettuce salad.
Should you have a few bucks left over for dessert, there are worse ways to spent $7 than a chocolate chip cookie.

The prices are in line with those from the last two Super Bowls at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium in 2021 and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami in 2020.
All represent a stark difference from the ridiculously cheap prices at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium in 2019, where Falcons owner Arthur Blank maintained his low-cost concessions for the big game.
