I have found this program to be full of kind and thoughtful individuals. I especially appreciate UNCC’s emphasis on multi culturally informed counseling. The professors are all accomplished clinicians and i learn so much from them. The students in the program come from a diverse range of backgrounds and everyone has a unique perspective to share. Although the requirement for clinical hours is significant, the professors are supportive and helpful.

As a non traditional student going back to obtain my Masters degree, UNCC has been amazing. The program chair has been wonderful in ushering me through getting started as I needed some undergraduate credits first before enrolling full-time. Once we got those squared away, she was right there to see that I had everything I needed to move to the next phase of obtaining my Masters Degree.
