Storing, Reheating or Freezing Pie (2024)

SERVING, STORING & REHEATING PIES

Harvest Apple, Mixed Berry Crumble, Carolina Classic Cherry, other Seasonal Fruit Pie

Store your pie at room temperature. Good for 1-2 days. We recommend cracking the lid to let air in and not get humid. There is very little sugar in the apple pie and it will mold. Meant to be enjoyed the day purchased and next day.

Reheat

  • 5” Mini - Reheat at 325 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Don’t bake too long or the fruit can become dry.

  • Full Size - We highly recommend only reheating slices. The pie is really big and if you reheat the whole pie so that it is warm all the way through, you will overbake the fruit. Want it warm enough to melt some ice crema on top? 325 degrees for 7 minutes.

Cowgirl Chocolate, Southern Pecan, Caramel Chess

Store at room temperature. Good for 3—5 days. Do not reheat.

Key West Lime, Fall Pumpkin

Store in the refrigerator. Good for 3—5 days. Do not reheat.

Ice Box Pies and Seasonal Special Fridge Pies (Cookies ‘n Cream, Funfetti, Touchdown Pie, Cookie Dough)

To serve, dip a large cutting knife in warm water, gently slice the pie, wipe the knife between each slice. This keeps each slice clean and preserves any special topping.

Store in the refrigerator. Good for 3—5 days.
