Bread History originally is from Penang, Malaysia, now baking to serve at Sunway Pyramid. Bread History is an ongoing bakery organization specializing in developing quality bakery experiences throughout the Northern Region of Malaysia with additional diversified businesses associated with the industry.

Founded and driven by company entrepreneur, Mr. Simon Au Yong, the company was established in 2003, at Prangin Mall, Georgetown, and now operates more than 20 high driven quality bakery chains with exciting projects under development, in addition to the portfolio-associated businesses within the portfolio.

Bread History Sdn Bhd owns and operates our chains by partnering with international pastry/bakery chefs to facilitate the development of our brands in the Northern Region of Malaysia as we have built a strong platform in this industry. As a well-known brand in that region, we are aiming to expand our brand so everyone in Malaysia can experience Bread History.

To date, we are a multi-award-winning bakery chain with (15) boutique bakeries, (2) European bread bakery (Savour Bakery), (3) cafes under (1) central kitchen, with up to (320) employees and serving more than (100) types of buns, loaves, dry cakes and signature cakes every day and excite cake lovers with customized cake. Bread History Sdn Bhd are expanding our business by establishing (3) more outlets with 24 Xpress (mart) since year 2018 along with (3) Bread History Mart outlet.
