Where is the best place to start the Rail Corridor? ›

There are many entry points to the Rail Corridor however there are three main sections: North ( ~10km) – Starting from Kranji MRT, there are more than 30 points of access along this stretch of the Rail Corridor including Kranji War Memorial, Choa Chu Kang Road, and Hillview MRT.

The 24 km long Rail Corridor is a continuous green passage that allows wildlife movement between major green spaces. It also serves as a recreational corridor for all members of the public. As it is an important ecological corridor, the Rail Corridor is not lit at night to facilitate nocturnal wildlife movement.

You can also alight at Buona Vista Station Exit D (14, 74, 91, 92, 92M, 95, 191, 196, 198, 200, 200A). By MRT: Alight at Buona Vista MRT Station. Upon exiting the MRT station (nearest exit is exit D), enter the node via our accesses near The Metropolis. By car: Parking is available at The Metropolis.

Alight at King Albert Park MRT Station, along Bukit Timah Road (bus stop ID: 42051). Upon exiting the MRT station, turn left and walk along Bukit Timah Road for 5 minutes. You will be greeted by a landscaped entrance point to lead you into the Rail Corridor.

From the city, drive in the direction of Upper Bukit Timah towards Woodlands, make a U-turn at the first pedestrian bridge you see, and then turn left into Hindhede Drive to the Reserve. There is a carpark at the Visitor Centre. It is open from 6:00am to 7:00pm.
